ASBA Recognizes 3 Verde Design Projects

OThe American Sports Builders Association recognized three of Verde Design's recently completed projects as 2009 Distinguished Facilities.

The Spartan Stadium Field Renovation at San José State University and the San José City College Lady Jags Softball Stadium were recognized as Distinguished Sports Field Projects.

Spartan Stadiums field was renovated with a synthetic turf system that provides significant advantages for the University: fewer hours field use time will be lost to inclement weather conditions and maintenance time and water usage will both be substantially reduced.

After seven months of construction, the opening celebration closed with cheers for the Panther girls soccer team in their 7-0 victory over Kennedy High in the first-ever competition held on the new field
