VERDE DESIGN WELCOMES GARY HOVER

We are pleased to announce that Gary Hover has joined Verde Design.

Gary brings his commitment to creating sustainable recreation facilities for communities to Verde Design.

He is an active member of California Parks & Recreation Society (CPRS) and has been a session panel member for presentations at both CPRS and the National Recreation & Parks Association. Gary also served as a Board member for the Development and Operations Section of CPRS.

Formerly Superintendent of Parks and Facilities for the City of Redwood City Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department, Gary championed Best Practices to implement water conservation throughout the City’s outdoor recreation facilities.

One of Gary's most recent projects at the City was the renovation of the Hoover Park playing fields. The multi-use fields now include two soccer fields and two softball fields. The synthetic turf used on the fields will conserve water and allow more hours of community use.
