US News & World Report Lists 4 South Bay High Schools in Top 100

Verde Design salutes the four South Bay high Schools that were included in the US News & World Report annual "America's Best High Schools: Gold Medal List" of the top 100 high schools in the U.S.

The listed schools were Gunn High School and Palo Alto High School in Palo Alto, Monta Vista High School in Cupertino, and Lynbrook High School in San José.

US News reviewed more than 21,000 public high schools in 48 states and the District of Columbia to select the 100 schools that performed best using their three-step process. The first two steps evaluated how the schools served all their students, using state proficiency standards as the benchmarks. The schools that made it past the first two steps were then assessed on the degree that they prepared their students for college-level work.
