Buck Shaw Stadium

Santa Clara University Athletic Facility Improvements, Santa Clara

The professionals at Verde Design are assisting Santa Clara University with upgrades to their athletic facilities. Our most recent collaboration was to renovate and improve the natural turf field at Buck Shaw Stadium and reconstruct Stanton Field, the soccer practice field, with synthetic turf. The Buck Shaw field, which also serves as home field for the San José Earthquakes professional soccer team, was upgraded to meet the standards of the NCAA and the Earthquakes.

Our professional staff also designed Schott Stadium,* the University's state-of-the-art baseball stadium. We achieved our design goal of maximizing the level of play in the stadium while remaining within the University's budget.
