Casanova Park, San Mateo
Casanova Park reopened on May 22, 2010, showing off its new look and theme. The park, which serves a vibrant community of families, was renovated to bring new life and interest into the facility. Our designers worked with the City to develop a theme that is sure to appeal to kids of all ages: dinosaurs. Giant tyrannosaurus rex footprints lead tots and youth through the different play areas and equipment, while a water play area attracts the sandcastle crowd. Hidden in the sand are dinosaur bones waiting to be discovered.
The renovated park includes a new entry, playground observation areas, an upgraded picnic area for parents and families, security lighting, new circulation pathways, and new plantings.
