Cubberley Community Center Field Renovations, Palo Alto
Verde Design was selected by the City of Palo Alto to renovate the nearly 147,000 square foot playing field at Cubberley Community Center. The new field provides a multi-use playing surface that will be able to stand up to heavy use and allow more hours of play than previously available.
Our services for the project included landscape architecture and civil engineering design, irrigation system design, construction management, and utility coordination.
Construction was completed in 2009.
Project Program
Synthetic turf fields, striping for 70 x 120 yard field and sprint soccer striped across the field. Track improvements included regrading the track, perimeter track drain and irrigation line replacement. Drainage system included a percolation system with a high flow outlet. Emergency wireless phone system provided for security.
