Crystal Springs Uplands School, Hillsborough

Crystal Springs Uplands School, a private 6-12 school, is located in a residential neighborhood and has a tightly constrained footprint for their playing field. Verde Design worked with the school staff to renovate the natural turf field by installing synthetic turf with permanent striping for soccer. The field also supports 8-player football games.

To meet C3 calculation drainage requirements, rain water is retained on the field, then discharged from the field through a vegetated buffer strip so it is filtered before entering the city's stormwater system.
