The King's Academy, Sunnyvale
Verde Design provided conceptual design services to update the sports facilities at The King's Academy. The Academy, a private college preparatory school, is planning to renovate the football/soccer field, add sports field lighting, and install an all-weather track & field.
Our designers conducted a Digital Design Charrette with the Academy staff and presented several layout alternatives for their site. After reviewing the opportunities and constraints of each alternative, the Academy staff selected a preferred layout. We generated detailed, full color rendering of the new facilities (shown above left) for the Academy's staff to present to the faculty, students and their families.
New sports field lighting has been installed. Construction on the remainder of the improvements awaits funding.
