Schulte Youth Sports Park, Tracy
The City of Tracy is exploring options to meet the recreational needs of its growing population. One option developed for the City is the Schulte Youth Sports Park, a 148-acre project designed to be constructed in phases. The plan for the complex includes youth fields for soccer, baseball, football, and softball, three themed playgrounds, and picnic areas. The number of lighted fields in the complex and the use of synthetic turf on some fields would provide extended hours of play even during inclement weather.
Two of the youth baseball fields were designed to a 'stadium standard' allowing the city to host major local and regional championship games.

Sustainability was integrated into the park complex by using native and drought tolerant plants throughout the site and retaining storm water on-site to recharge the natural ground water system.
